Abstract:

SPKI/SDSI certificate system can meet the demand of secure visit control under the circumstances of P2P network. JXTA is an open network computing infrastructure used to solve peer to peer computing, on which explorers can apply P2P. This paper covers the SPKI/SDSI certificate theory and the security demand for P2P ,and raises P2P security plan based on SPKI/SDSI certificate in JXTA peergroups.

I. Forword

P2P(Peer-to-Peer)is called peer-to-peer network or P-2-P technology because all the nodes are peers, each of which is of the same duty and ability to carry out the work synergistically. Information resources, processors, even high-speed cache memory can be shared not through centralized servers or equivalents but directly among peers, JXTA is a network programming and computing flatbase designed for P2P distributed computing, and peer group is an important mechanism, by which P2P network can be thoroughly divided and in which special service can be offered, so that controling peers becomes relatively easy, and the problem of organizing and managing nodes confronted in the application of P2P can be solved.
