Abstract:
The new generation of real-time systems is described as complex because of the great amount of dependent parameters to be handled in a specified time. These parameters, often represent the interconnected components of these systems interaction environments. Our contribution is the development of a generic architecture for these systems. Object-oriented techniques are used to model the system and the environment components. Thus, the complex interconnections between these components are considered and their processing is found to be easier. To test this architecture, we have developed a prototype that uses a discrete event simulation Due to its properties, it is possible to represent in a realistic manner real-time systems behavior and appraise the benefits of the architecture.
