I INTRODUCTION
Next generation of wireless communication systems aims at delivering high data rate applications and services such as multimedia, web browsing, video streaming, wireless teleconferencing, data and image in local coverage networks. In order to make available these services, higher data rates and quality digital communication systems are required in a bandwidth. A major limiting factor is, however, the multipath propagation phenomenon. It causes frequency-selective fading due to different echoes of transmitted symbols overlapping at the receive end, which can lead to the BER degradation. One away to effectively mitigate the impairments of a multipath fading channel and still have high data rates in a limited bandwidth is to use higher constellation modulation technique.
