Abstract:

Data mining technology has been applied to the study of alumina production operations management information system. First of all, on basis of process of data mining analysis and comparison of various classification methods, come to classification algorithm in a variety of strengths and weaknesses. And then take production and operations management information of a China alumina enterprise as the research object, the ID3 algorithm is applied to the study of alumina quality prediction model, while the IBLE algorithm is applied to the study of alumina production prediction model. Finally, alumina quality prediction model and alumina production forecast model were applied to the system of decision-support module, at the same time proposing function modules of alumina production operations management system which based on data mining technology.

I. Introduction

Production operations Management is one of the basic functions of organization, Its importance of self-evident. Through analysis production operations management of a China alumina production enterprise, it found that alumina production process is complex and the production cycle as well as the production process is longer. Because of the production process involves many different production systems. It is difficult to quantitatively control in the actual production operations management of the alumina production process. Therefore the manager was unable to get timely and accurate data, and could only be feed back controlled.
