Abstract:

To effectively improve the collaborative manufacturing management level and manufacturing execution ability, this paper provides an integrated collaborative manufacturing management system for complex product which supports workshop real-time information integration, based on the analysis of presently research and application situation and requirements of collaborative digital management for complex product manufacturing. The integrated collaborative manufacturing management system for complex product consists of six parts including resource service layer, basic service layer, collaborative manufacturing function layer, collaborative support layer, service layer and user layer. Furthermore, some of the key issues which are important to realize the system are described in detail, including dynamic job schedule and management based on workshop real-time information, manufacturing resource management and real-time control technologies etc. Finally, the system is developed and applied in an automobile engine manufacturing workshop and its feasibility is demonstrated.

I. Introduction

Complex product is a kind of product with complex customer requirements, complex product structure, complex in manufacturing process and complex in project management, such as spacecraft, automobile, complex electromechanical product and weapon system etc[1]. The manufacturing process of complex products includes complex interaction with multi departments and multi processes. While with the trends of manufacturing globalization and aggravation of market competition, the manufacturing enterprises for complex products are facing severe challenges, that is how to realize the collaborative design and manufacturing with multi subjects and departments, rapidly product process routine and production preparation, effectively production job scheduling and execution and improve the manufacturing execution capacity with the constrains of rapid market responds, low cost, higher quality and better services. To realize above management objects, a higher requirement is put forward for the collaborative manufacturing management information platform for complex product.
