Abstract:

Aimed at characteristic of regenerative brake of hybrid electric drive system of armored vehicle, hybrid electric drive system of armored vehicle with two energy storage devices (battery and flywheel) in series is designed for steal running and electro-thermal chemical gun in future combat field. Battery and flywheel are coordinated to store maximum feedback energy. Heavy current within short time is feed back to flywheel battery and low current within long time is feed back to battery. The mathematical model of this system is built. Simulation results show that in this system engine can work in the optimum fields, battery can work in the high efficiency zone and storage device can store enough regenerative brake energy for steal running and shooting electro-thermal chemical gun.
