Abstract:

The paper describes the method of circuit synthesis using the admittance network modification programmed in MATLAB. The principle of the described algorithm is based on the substitution of all the possible combinations of limit admittances values (zero, infinitive) to the characteristic equation of the input circuit structure. The method is in detail described, and an example of the synthesized circuit is presented.

I. Introduction

Many methods of automatic synthesis of electronic circuits were published. Some of them implement modem optimization methods such as genetic algorithms or genetic programming [1], [2], [3]. Transformation from desired transfer function to active - RC circuit structure using mathematical modifications of admittance matrix was presented in [4]. The goal of these methods is to develop a tool for automatic synthesis of electronic circuits where engineer without deeper knowledge of principles of electronic circuits should be able to design analog structure which realizes desired transfer function. Another area of using these methods is searching for new circuit structures based on new active blocks.
