1. INTRODUCTION
Incubators assist start-up companies by providing support services and assistance to develop their business including assistance in developing business and marketing plans, building management teams, obtaining capital, and access to a range of other more specialized professional services. Moreover, incubators provide flexible space, shared equipment, and administrative services with high-added value (Grimaldi and Grandi 2005; Smilor 1987). The settlement of start-up companies, called as Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), in an incubator usually takes 24–36 months. After this incubating period, they are expected to become independent with the self-sustaining business. The role of SMEs is not negligible in boom of the economy, and incubators are one of most effective environments for helping them to meet the necessary requirements and to reach a sustainable growth.
