Abstract:
First-order eigenvalue sensitivity expressions are developed with respect to: (a) perturbations in the performance criteria of the linear quadratic regulator problem: (b) the invariant subspaces retained in the projective controls methodology; and (c) structured perturbations in the closed-loop system. and used in the design of robust controllers as illustrated on the Draper Tetrahedron Truss.
