Abstract:

This paper addresses the problem of determining the directions-of-arrival (DOA's) of narrow-band emitter signals impinging on an antenna array. A modified beamspace MUSIC algorithm for high-resolution array processing is presented. Simulation results are included to show the improved performance of proposed estimator at threshold signal-to-noise ratio.

1. Introduction

There are many signal processing application for which a set of unknown parameters must be estimated from measurements collected in time and/or space by antenna array. Typical examples of such problems include Direction of Arrivals (DOA) estimation of multiple narrowband sources, sinusoidal frequency estimation.
