Abstract:

A small private liberal arts college with engineering, is experimenting with a new undergraduate paradigm for integrating the arts, humanities, and sciences with modern technology and engineering in a way that will enhance student's technological literacy for the 21st century. Union College brings together faculty from engineering and the liberal arts so that students graduate with an understanding beyond that provided by a traditional disciplinary major.
