Abstract:

In this paper, we detect a pressure change of vital information and a heart pulse using an air pressure sensor. We could detect the heart pulse at higher S/N ratio for the various positions using an air pressure sensor. As the result for live volunteers, we could extract the heart pulse at the 1.28% error ratio. In the temporal transitional interval time of heart pulse between our method and a sphygmograph, the mean error is 4.73. This accuracy is enough to process heart rate monitoring in clinical usage

I. Introduction

Health monitoring systems are required in the field of medicine and nursing, because doctors need to monitor various conditions of patients in real time processing. In one of the health monitoring system, a monitoring system of heart rate is as follows. The heart rate shows a reaction of heart for physiologic or spiritual stimulation from a surrounding, and is an important and various factors showing an active state of heart. Therefore, several research did in the various fields [1]. The heart rate mainly shows an automatic nervous system activity. Moreover, the heart rate is an important parameter to influence a blood pressure change, an aspiration system, and a temperature control. Thus, in valid method that monitors a heart rate routinely, the monitoring with easy handling and smart system is required for nurses. Moreover, unconstrained patients monitoring system is valid for patients.
