Abstract:
This paper outlines a novel procedure for the design of end-coupled microstrip bandpass filters at near mm-wave frequencies. It presents results obtained for a fabricated 28.76GHz filter which yielded an insertion loss of 2.3dB in the passband and 30dB rejection at 4% below the centre frequency. The performance of this filter was superior to that of a conventional parallel-coupled filter designed for the same purpose.
