Abstract:

Because control variable u(t) for fast valving is restricted by the stroke and velocity of valve, therefore, linear optimal control theory cannot effectively be used to solve the problem of fast valving. This paper recommends a new control approach for fast valving based on maximum principle, in which the limitation of control variable u(t) is considered. It can automatically distinguish and adapt the changes of fault condition and operation mode, and make the act for fast valving bring into full play. In addition, the control method given in this paper meets the need of discrete transient stability control. There is not singular solution in this control method. The results of calculation through three system show that this approach is correct.<>
