Abstract:

In this paper, measurement procedures of propagation loss and examination results between propagation loss and distance in 70 GHz band are reported For the propagation loss, differences of approximate equations in the various environments, such as LoS and NLoS, and relation between an antenna beam width and an attenuation coefficient for distance are discussed

1. Introduction

Recently many wireless applications such as fixed wireless access systems, ad hoc wireless systems has been studied. Especially a millimeter waves such as 60/70GHz band is considered to be suitable for short-range high-speed wireless applications because of these wider specturm usages [1].
