I. INTRODUCTION

The measurements performed on modern electrical power systems very often concern the disturbances existing in the supply voltage, or in the current absorbed by an electrical plant, when the ideal conditions of sinusoidal waveform, nominal frequency and amplitude, symmetrical voltages in a three-phase system and continuity of supply are not complied with.
