I. Introduction
Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country in the world, with a marine area of about 5.8 million km2 [1]. To cover all geographical regions in Indonesia, it is necessary to have access to alternative communication in addition to terrestrial networks that can reach blank spot areas. Satellite communication systems are an alternative solution that can be used. For the development of satellite technology, the design and implementation of phased array antennas become essential. Phased array antennas offer several significant advantages over traditional antenna systems. Phased array antennas enhance secure transmission by focusing the radiation pattern toward the intended receiver while minimizing radiation in other directions [2].
