I. Introduction
While Level-5 Autonomous Driving holds the promise to improve transportation safety and efficiency, the technology is not yet ready for prime-time. However, many of the tools that have been developed for Autonomous Driving find application in Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS). ADAS, by definition, require the driver to be able to intervene in case of need [1]. This entails scenarios where the driver needs to regain situational awareness very rapidly in order to safely take over the control of the vehicle. In the literature, this is known as handover [2], [3], [4].
