Abstract:
Existing campus tour systems mainly rely on landmarks, static maps, and manual tours, which cannot be updated in real-time and are limited by human resources, resulting in an inefficient tour guide system and a poor visitor experience. This researc h aims to realize a driverless campus tour vehicle that can interact with visitors and show them the way. This paper utilizes the Raspberry Pi and the Pi Racer to achieve autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, and automatic speed control. Using YOLO net to recognize the campus buildings and speech recognition to interact with the unmanned guided vehicle enhances campus friendliness.
