Abstract:

Information and communication technologies provide technological tools to provide solutions to many problems, one of them dedicated to take care of students in schools, to try to monitor the location and thus to minimize the effects of possible abuse among students. This research study presents a low-cost system based on an IoT sensor that emits location at all times as well as has an emergency alarm that warns if the student has any difficulty. The results allow to evaluate its implementation in educational centers, where teachers can monitor students. As a conclusion we can indicate the practicality of the implementation due to the low cost of the implementation and the ease of use of the device.

I. Introduction

IoT technologies allow monitoring various objects, among the various mechanisms we find those related to health, IoT is considered as a platform with which physicians can interact with patients, which is being implemented in hospital centers where IoT sensors are used. [1], [2] IoT work and literature analysis is referred to in order to assist physicians in providing medical solutions for patients, using a process diagram to evaluate the achievements of IoT to detect changes in patients' vital parameters by adapting the tracking of patients' caloric intake and therapy to improve their performance [3]. Works referred about skin problems in people for which an idea of a ‘Smart’ Skin Monitoring Device is presented allowing to reach patients in various locations remotely, this method is based on AI and IoT based on the cloud with which CNN is used to perform analysis of medical images and on disease predictions which will be sent to the doctors' teams to provide the end to provide treatment of patients [4]. Works referred about (IoT) applied to the health sector through the use of portable devices which measure the physiological factors for which it is proposed the use of portable sensor networks efficient fog-assisted computing (FCE-WSN) within the health monitoring system for athletic athletes using portable devices performing a continuous monitoring performed in real time with which to take the heart rate, respiratory rate and cadence of movement during physical activity, having it as the analytical model of the portable device which shows how to minimize costs by maintaining the medical information stored within the distribution of fog and cloud which is why it is proposed the use of the portable sensor networks efficient computational fog-assisted computing (FCE-WSN) within the health monitoring system for athletic athletes, respiratory frequency and cadence of movement during physical activity, having it as the analytical model of the portable device which shows how to minimize costs by keeping the medical information stored within the distribution of fog and cloud so the evaluation system will depend on a queue to determine the minimum requirements to achieve the Service Level Agreement (SLA) [5].
