Abstract:

This paper demonstrates a point-to-multipoint bidirectional single-fiber real-time transmission system based on DSCM with shared laser. The real-time electrical back-to-back experiment at a rate of 25.6 Gbit/s shows an SNR of 19.12 dB and EVM within 11%.

I. Introduction

The standard of single channel 50 Gbit/s Passive Optical Network (PON) has been adopted [1]. With the rapid development and popularization of Fiber To The Room (FTTR) and 5G networks, the next generation of beyond 100G PON has come into focus of current research to meet the explosively growing demand for FTTx applications [2].
