I. Introduction
Smart cities are one of the emerging applications of the Internet of Things (IoT) that interconnect a broad range of heterogeneous IoT-enabled devices to provide seamless communication [1]. The IoT-enabled devices, like access points (APs), are distributed in the environment for the practical application of interconnectivity in IoT networks [2]. These APs act as connectivity hubs, tying together various devices like mobile phones, smart cars, and other essential infrastructure parts. Moreover, they also provide data collection, sharing, and intercommunication, which increases communication network complexity [3].
