I. Introduction
Doubly salient electromagnetic generator (DSEG) is a promising solution for aerospace applications due to its simple structure, high reliability, and adjustable excitation [1], [2], [3]. When the DSEG system is employed in harsh aerospace environments, faults may occur in the armature winding or power converter, degrading the system’s reliability. The fault tolerance capability of DSEG should be enhanced to meet the reliability requirements of the aviation power generation system.
