Abstract:

Post-traumatic recovery is a long and painful process, mainly those related to the lower limbs, where recovery is prolonged mainly by the concern of achieving a balanced recovery in posture. In the present work we present a low cost method for the evaluation of recovery in posture, based on the evaluation of the symmetry of the lower limbs, in order to evaluate the recovery of posture, the method is to make a record of the image of the patient when he is standing on his legs, resorting to the use of equipment that emit a laser light in the vertical and horizontal axes, which are calibrated, the method proposes to use markers located on symmetrical sides of the body to be evaluated, The evaluation consists of being able to determine if the patient is recovering as well as his posture is presenting a symmetry, when the markers are aligned in the evaluation, as a result of the evaluation with a patient who has flat foot surgery, where the proposal to use the presented method is evident., the method can be applied and replicated to other pathologies.

I. Introduction

The engineering techniques are helping to solve health problems, presenting solutions based on the use of various devices such as cameras for recording images and video, where it is required to analyze the record of a special part of the human body, there are those that use several sensors., where the intention is to record some phenomenon that is occurring in the human body, using in many cases various devices such as mobile equipment, where their sensors are used and the applications that can be exploited in order to help the health sector, even more when health centers do not have technological solutions, there is always a new option based on low-cost mechanisms, although it is not a medical equipment, but allows a regostro with close values, among these solutions can mention those that use mobile equipment, to be worked with an audiometer [1]. Work related to solutions that allow the real-time location of patients who are treated in the diagnosis of Covid-19, in order to know their location, these solutions use commonly used mechanism with is the case of mobile equipment [2].
