I. Introduction
Adverse weather conditions often impact the images and videos captured by outdoor imaging systems. Rain are a common condition that degrade visibility, seriously degrading the functionality and performance of equipments and systems of the outdoor vision, e.g., traffic monitoring, object detection [1] and autonomous driving [2] systems. Thus, removing rain from videos or images has aroused extensive attention from the fields of computer vision. To tackle this problem, researchers have proposed a series of deraining approaches based on traditional optimization and deep learning.
