I. Introduction
Diabetes is a growing global health issue, affecting over 422 million people worldwide and resulting in 1.5 million deaths annually [1]. Although regular glucose testing and lifestyle management are essential for a high standard of living, low-income populations cannot afford the current industry norms. Due to a lack of accessible monitoring techniques and inadequate diabetes education, complications are more common in least developed and low-income nations. Delivery of insulin on time and accurately presents additional difficulties because continuous pumps are too expensive. An affordable yet accurate system for both glucose monitoring and insulin delivery is needed [2].
