Abstract:

Homomorphic encryption is a groundbreaking cryptographic technique that enables secure data operations on encrypted data without revealing the underlying information. This study explores various forms of homomorphic encryption, including labelled, somewhat, and fully homomorphic encryption, and provides practical insights into its implementation using the RSA algorithm. Further, this study also discusses about the real-time applications of homomorphic encryption, such as secure data sharing in government administration, and emphasizes its potential to revolutionize data security and privacy in a wide range of domains. This research study underscores the ongoing advancements in this field, highlighting the promise it holds for the future of secure and privacy-preserving data handling.

I. Introduction

Homomorphic encryption represents a sophisticated cryptographic technique that orchestrates the transformation of data into ciphertext, maintaining its fundamental structure. This innovation empowers the execution of intricate mathematical operations on encrypted data without compromising its security. The nomenclature "homomorphic" is rooted in the domain of mathematics, denoting the preservation of inherent relationships within data, akin to the constancy of a well-structured framework.
