Abstract:

Global frugality depends on the transportation and trucking industry to carry out the efficient movement of products and goods. However, problems like functional inefficiencies and security concerns keep this diligence disturbed. The proposed system aims to create an integrated Cooperative Intelligent Transportation System (C-ITS) that will improve security and efficiency in transportation and trucking businesses in order to tackle these issues. The study work consist of two modules address the allocation and deallocation of vehicles to drivers and the maintenance of gate passes for loaded cars. A comprehensive approach supports the investigation, comprising a theoretical framework, a review of the literature, and a practical application. Data collected during the allocation and allocation process, along with the creation of gate passes, are used to measure the effectiveness of the recommended modules. The module s highlight the potential to improve efficiency, boost security, and simplify internal operations in trucking and transportation firms. Achieving the maximum benefit from Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) requires making the best effective use of the equipment that is being built and the vast amount of data that it provides. We suggest that the design and management of transportation networks particularly benefit greatly from the application of operations research. The focus of the paper is on Advanced Fleet Management Systems, Electronic Business, City Logistics, and Freight ITS. The study work discusses the main challenges, technical obstacles, and achievements before showing how improved operations research-based decision-support software could significantly improve Freight ITS performance over time.

I. Introduction

The term Intelligent Transportation Systems, or ITS, is typically used to refer to the technology, infrastructure, and services of the future as well as the methods for planning, operating, and controlling the movement of people and goods. But with ITS, today is already tomorrow. For the effective movement of goods and goods, transportation and trucking diligence is essential to global frugality. Still, a number of difficulties still live in this sector, including functional inefficiencies and security enterprises. To address these difficulties and enhance the performance of the assiduity, shipping, and trucking enterprises are decreasingly in need of innovative results that increase productivity and security. Lately developed intelligent transport technology has created chances to unnaturally modify how transport operations are conducted. One of these systems, the United Intelligent Transport System (C-ITS), offers a workable plan for adding business productivity and security. By exercising collaborative systems, C-ITS provides flawless information sharing and collaboration among multitudinous stakeholders involved in the transportation process.
