Abstract:

The gateway is an important secondary device in a substation, and its health status can provide guidance for equipment condition maintenance and fault disposal, which is essential to ensure the safe and stable operation of the substation. However, the existing secondary equipment assessment focuses on device or board-level information and lacks an overall consideration of chip-board-device. This paper establishes a three-level device health evaluation system of chip-board-device covering the core boards of the gateway device and proposes a fuzzy comprehensive rating method. In detail, firstly, the typical structure of a gateway device is introduced. Secondly, a three-level equipment health evaluation system of chip-board-device is established. Thirdly, based on fuzzy theory, a comprehensive evaluation method of a gateway device is given. Finally, the effectiveness of the method is verified by comparing it with examples.

I. Introduction

As the core secondary equipment of the substation, the health state of the gateway machine is very important to the safe and stable operation of the substation. For a long time, China’s power enterprises have formed a maintenance mode based on fault maintenance and planned maintenance, which are combined [1]. The maintenance mode has the problems of a heavy workload, long time, and low efficiency, while the condition maintenance can effectively improve the availability of secondary equipment, reduce operation and maintenance pressure, and improve economic benefits. The prerequisite for condition maintenance is equipment health status assessment, therefore, it is necessary to study the assessment of the health status of secondary equipment.
