I. Introduction
Vitiligo is a skin disease caused by the loss of pigment. Accurate vitiligo assessment is important to diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment selection. Widely used clinical vitiligo assessment scores, such as the Vitiligo Extent Score (VES) [1], require dermatologists to estimate the vitiligo involvement percentage by the naked-eye. The scores are regularly estimated for tracking the change of vitiligo and adjusting the treatment promptly. Automatic evaluation is critical to alleviate the burden of dermatologists and avoid inter- and intra-accessor variability.
