I. Introduction
Direction of arrival (DOA) estimation based on array has various applications in radar [1], sonar [2], localization [3] and wireless communications [4] [5]. Many estimation methods using parametric array processing have achieved super-resolution and high-accuracy, including multiple signal classification (MUSIC) [6], estimation of signal parameter via rotational invariance techniques (ESPRIT) [7] and maximum likelihood (ML) methods [8]. They all break through the Rayleigh criterion, which limits angular resolution in theory.
