1. Introduction
Micro-light-emitting diode (micro-LED) displays have excellent properties and have gained wide applications. Among them, InGaN-based micro-LED can achieve a monolithic integrated full-color display and avoid the huge cost of mass transfer and the efficiency issue of color conversion. However, the severe quantum-confined Stark effect (QCSE) phenomenon causes non-negligible wavelength shifts, thus decreasing the resolution of the display. In this work, we designed a modified distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) as a color filter to improve the color stability. The simulation results showed a 42% reduction of color shift in the CIE 1931 color space and stable color palettes while increasing current.
