Abstract:

The Covid-19 pandemic, achieved a growth in digitization processes, in the health sector, many solutions were presented to mitigate the impact of the pandemic, in this sense, we present the implementation of a low cost system, to know the location of positive patients or patients who are waiting for test results, as well as to warn them, One of the functionalities of the system is the bidirectional communication, where the patient can send an alarm signal if he/she is in emergency, as well as to alert the patient to come to the nurses' station. In the present work a description of the devices used is developed, as well as the necessary configurations for its implementation and we finish with the presentation of the results of use of the system, the system has the potential to be applied, scaled to multiple uses.

I. Introduction

The uses and applications of information and communication technologies are providing new ways to solve problems that were technologically difficult to solve or otherwise its implementation cost was high, in recent years the use of lOT techniques are causing the implementation of many solutions based on being able to connect devices to the Internet and thus to obtain data, as well as remote control. We found many applications in the health sector, where the use and exploitation of lOT technologies are helping the management of hospitalized patients for monitoring and control by nurses [1].
