Abstract:

A simulation model of the radar environment, which allows one to simulate various scenarios of pulse radar operation, is proposed in the paper. The description of the functionality and a model flowcharting is presented. A study to quantify the signal-to-noise ratio of the radar response of a target against known target parameters and radar parameters during a test session has been conducted. The implementation of model for clutter suppression is presented. Comparison of experimental results and simulation results is shown.
