I. Introduction
Water is essential in every small passenger ship, particularly for lavatory use. The demand for water on ferry boats is determined by the number of passengers on board as well as their age range. Ferry boats must carry an adequate amount of water in order to provide a quality service to passengers on board. Water scarcity is one of the most serious issues confronting all living things. The increase in human population and other living beings has resulted in an increase in water demand over the years. Aside from an increase in the population of living beings, rising living standards and increased demand for agricultural products all had a significant impact on water supply [1]. Water is essential to the survival of all living things. Climate change, increased demand, overuse of water, and location all have an impact on water supply. According to the study [5], the earth is mostly covered with water for about 71 percent, with only 1.2 percent of it usable by humans for drinking and other purposes. Water monitoring, conservation, and responsible use can all contribute to the solution to water scarcity. Furthermore, managing water use will reduce the percentage of water waste in households, which is also applicable to ships and boats because they carry a certain amount of water on each trip, making water management and monitoring more important.
