Abstract:

In this paper, a service function chain(SFC) deployment method based on network function virtualization(NFV) is disclosed. Based on the network function virtualization technology, this method abstracts and virtualizes devices in the distribution communication network to realize the separation of software and hardware, and abstracts power distribution service requests into service function chains, thus transforming the service request processing problem into the SFC deployment problem. Through simulation verification, the proposed method achieves the goal of minimizing the overall cost and effectively reducing the cost of processing service requests. In this case, the integer linear programming model (ILP) is solved by the computing resource and bandwidth resource balancing (CBRT) algorithm to obtain the optimal solution, and the planning is carried out according to the optimal solution, which reduces the deployment delay of SFC and improves the network reliability. It is helpful to solve the problems of equipment connection of different brands, unified network management, easy operation and maintenance, and create greater economic and social benefits.

I. Introduction

With the rapid development of new energy and the construction of new power systems, power terminals are rapidly advancing towards the interconnection of everything and interaction at any time. As a result, there will be a large increase in the demand for the number of equipment in the distribution communication network, resulting in a large number of data in the network and a doubling of service requests. However, the traditional switch in the distribution communication network uses the combination of hardware and software. As a result, the equipment costs are high, and professional field engineers are required to open and configure the network. Therefore, the installation and maintenance costs are high, which greatly increases the cost of processing service requests. On the other hand, the complex configuration of traditional devices will increase the fault link and reduce the reliability of the network.
