I. INTRODUCTION
The moving magnet generator is an electro-mechanical energy converter of the type adapted for converting high-magnitude input pulses of mechanical energy into peak output pulses of electrical energy. In our previous publication [1] we have reported initial results of an experimental study of the generation of high-voltage and high-current pulses by generators designed as open ferromagnetic circuits and closed ferromagnetic circuits. In this paper results are presented of detailed investigations of the current mode of pulsed power generation with an open ferromagnetic circuit design.
