Laura Fernández Villar was born in Madrid, Spain. She received the B.S. degree in audiovisual systems engineering and M. Sc. degree in computer science from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Madrid, Spain, in 2009 and 2011, respectively.,She was a member of the Distributed Real-Time Systems Lab, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Madrid, Spain, until 2011, where she was a Researcher.
