Biography
Lin Chen received the Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2009.,Currently, he works as a Professor with the National Satellite Meteorology Center of China, China Meteorological Administration, Beijing. He has authored or coauthored over 60 science articles in peered-reviewed journals. His research interests include sensor development and design on the polar orbit satellite and cal/val activities of meteorology satellites and aerosols properties retrieval as well as their climate effect by long-term historical satellite data.,Dr. Chen is a Vice Chief Engineer of the FY-3 Rainfall Mission Satellite Ground Segment.(Based on document published on 15 August 2023).
