Biography
Niki Martinel (S’17) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees (cum laude) in multimedia communications from the University of Udine, Udine, Italy, in 2008 and 2010, respectively, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in multimedia communication.,He is a member of the AVIRES Laboratory, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Udine. His current research interests include wide area scene analysis, patter recognition techniques for surveillance applications, machine learning, feature transformations, and deep learning. All these interests are focused to the development of systems applied to the problem of reidentifying targets moving across uncovered/wide areas.,Mr. Martinel is a member of IAPR.(Based on document published on 27 February 2018).
