Biography
Galina Ivanova (M'03) was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1966. She received the Dipl.-Ing. (M.S.) degree in biomedical engineering and bionics, and the Dr.-Ing. (Ph.D.) degree in biomedical engineering from the Technische Universität Ilmenau, Ilmenau, Germany, in 1990 and 1995, respectively.,Since 1994, she is with the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Informatics at the Technische Universität Ilmenau as a Researcher and Lecturer for biosignal processing, medical statistics, and biometry. She is the Founder and Leader of the NeuroCybernetics Research Group. Her research interests are in the fields of signal processing, data analysis, adaptive brain-computer-interface, and its applications.(Based on document published on 3 September 2004).
