Biography

Glenn K. Klute received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, in 1986, the M.S. degree in bioengineering from the Pennsylvania State University, State College, in 1990, and the Ph.D. degree in bioengineering from the University of Washington in 1999.,His biomechanics research has included work as an Engineer developing exercise countermeasures for spaceflight and as a Manager of the Anthropometry and Biomechanics Laboratory, NASA's Johnson Space Center. He currently holds a joint appointment as a Research Health Scientist with the Department of Veterans Affairs and as an Affiliate Assistant Professor with the Departments of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington....

We present a novel X-ray frame camera with variable exposure time that is based on double-gated micro-channel plates (MCP).
