Biography
Matteo Ferrara received the bachelor’s degree (cum laude) in computer science from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2004, the master’s degree (cum laude) in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree in 2009. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Bologna. He is the author of several scientific articles and he served as a referee for international conferences and journals. His research interests include pattern recognition, computer vision, image processing, and machine learning. Most of his applied research is in the field of biometric systems.
