Biography
Weidong Li (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 1985, the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Northeast Electric Power University, Jilin, China, in 1988, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 1997. He is currently a Professor in electrical engineering with Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China, where he was the Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering, from 2011 to 2016. His research interests include power system automation, with a recent focus on frequency stability analysis and control of new power systems.(Based on document published on 5 August 2024).
