Biography

Simona Sacone (Member, IEEE) received the master’s degree in electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering and computer science from the University of Genoa, Italy, in 1992 and 1997, respectively. She is currently an Associate Professor of automatic control with the Department of Informatics, Bioengineering, Robotics and Systems Engineering, University of Genoa, where she acts as a Coordinator of the Ph.D. course on systems engineering. She has authored or coauthored more than 150 papers published in international journals, international books, and international conference proceedings. She is the Chair of the Technical Committee on Planning and Control of Transportation Networks of the IEEE Intelligent Transportation...
