Biography
Hiroshi Ochi (M'90) was born in Hiroshima, Japan, in 1959. He received the M.E. degree in electronics engineering from Nagaoka University of Technology, Niigata, Japan, in 1984 and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Tokyo Metropolitan University, Tokyo, Japan, in 1991.,From 1984 to 1985, he was with the Laboratory of the Japan Radio Corporation, Tokyo, Japan. Currently, he is a Professor in the Faculty of Information Engineering, Kyushu Institute of Technology, Iizuka, Japan. In 1992, he was a Visiting Scholar at Michigan State University, East Lansing, and the University of California, Irvine, under a Fulbright Young Researcher Program.
