Biography

B. Huiszoon is a post-doctoral researcher at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid (UAM) in Madrid, Spain. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in 2003 and 2008, respectively, and joined UAM in December 2008 with a Juan de la Cierva contract from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. He participated and contributed to a number of national- (RETINA, RGE, DIOR) and European- (e-Photon/ONe+, BONE, ISIS) funded research projects. He received the Valorisation Grant I in June 2007 from the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, which supports technology transfer from academics to industry.
