Biography
Gilbert Reyne is Director of Research (Professor) on MAGMAS (MAGnetic Micro-Actuators and Systems) for the CNRS (French National Centre of Scientific Research). His current MAGMAS researches of his group in LEG are strongly coupled with LETI and future MINATEC and focus on magnetic micromotors, bistable microswitches with micromagnets for optical, electrical, or fluidic applications (valves, pumps), micropower generation, deformable mirrors, and magnetic bearings. In 1985, he was Engineer from Ecole Normale Superieure de Cachan, Paris, France, in power electrical engineering and Doctor of INPG (1987- National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble).
