João Sanches is currently a Professor with the Bioengineering Department at the Instituto Superior Tecnico, Lisboa, Portugal, and a Researcher at the Institute for Systems and Robotics. His work has been focused in biomedical signal and image processing and physiological modeling of biological systems.,Dr. Sanches is a senior member of EMBS and a Technical Committee member of the IEEE Signal Processing Society.(Based on document published on 23 October 2012).
