Biography
J. W. Schumer (M’99–SM’12) received the B.S. degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Missouri, Rolla, MO, USA, in 1992, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Michigan in 1994 and 1997, respectively.,He is the Branch Head and a Senior Research Physicist in the Pulsed Power Physics Branch, Plasma Physics Division, Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Washington, DC, USA, primarily involved in the research areas of plasma physics and nuclear science.
